Since our formation in 1995, Lifeways has grown rapidly year on year, with increasing numbersof organisations and individuals turning to us to deliver the services they require. This is testimony to the quality of service provided by our managers and staff to the people who use our services and to purchasers. In 2008 we acquired Kentwood, an established support and care provider of residential homes based in Gloucestershire, Bristol and Worcestershire.Working with our customers We currently hold contracts with over 58 purchasers (generally local authorities and primary care trusts), as well as more than 25 Supporting People teams who plan and fund housing-related support services. We also provide services to people who hold their own individual budgets. In order to provide a comprehensive service, we have established a national network of offices throughout England, Scotland and Wales. Lifeways on course for further growth As a privately owned company, we are able to grow in a planned and controlled way, ensuring the highest quality of service is delivered and maintained. This offers confidence and stability to those who use our services, carers and purchasing authorities. Our Board has endorsed our significant investment in Lifeways’ infrastructure which will help us meet the demands of 21st century social care provision. |
