Chief Executive The Lifeways Group: Paul Marriner

Paul is responsible for overseeing the strategic development of the group and ensuring it adheres to high quality standards, policies and procedures, and professional practices.

Paul is a qualified nurse with over 20 years’ experience in planning, development and management of community-based services for people with learning or physical disabilities.

He joined Lifeways in 2000 and was promoted to Chief Executive in 2007.

 

Group Finance Director: Frances Daley

Frances is responsible for ensuring the efficient and proper management and utilisation of the organisation’s financial resources and for maintaining proper accounting procedures and standards.

She is a Chartered Accountant with substantial experience at Finance Director level. After qualifying with Ernst and Young she spent 9 years in corporate finance and 14 years in various finance director roles before joining Lifeways in February 2008.

 

Group Operations Director: Garry Cross

Garry has over 25 years extensive director and senior management experience in the retail, hospitality and care sectors. Having joined the care sector in January 2008, he has worked for a national operator of domiciliary care and for Lifeways in supported living services.

 

Group Quality Director: Dorothy Delooze

Dorothy is responsible for overseeing the quality assurance of the company.

She joined Lifeways in January 2008 from another national care provider where for 10 years she acted as Operations Director. She has over 25 years' experience within the care sector,

Her background is in the care of people with learning disabilities and she gained her nursing qualification with South Cheshire School of Nursing. She has a Diploma in Management Studies.

 

Group Development Director: Jemima Taylor

Group Development Director: Jemima Taylor, BSc (Hon), DipDM.

Jemima brings to the business over 15 years of business development and marketing experience with both multi-national companies and SMEs across a diverse range of industries.

At Lifeways, she is responsible for the development of strategic growth and all external communications and literature.

She joined Lifeways in February 2008 with the Kentwood acquisition.

 

Group Human Resources Director: Lola Kay-Odusanya

 

Lola Kay-Odusanya Group Human Resources Director: Lola Kay-Odusanya, BSc, MSc, Chartered MCIPD.

Lola is responsible for the development and delivery of Lifeways HR strategy, enabling the organisation to recruit, retain and motivate staff who will sustain and improve our business ethics.

She has a BSc in Economics and Business Studies, a Masters in Human Resource Management and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.

She has held several HR roles and has a wealth of experience from both private and public sectors delivering strategic and operational HR services.

 

Operations Director - North: Anne Bygrave

Anne has over 25 years experience of working with, leading and managing support for people who have learning disabilities, mental health needs, and for older people.

She has worked in health, social services and independent organisations where she has held roles of both commissioner and provider. Anne has a strong background in safeguarding and personalisation, and has worked both as an Assistant Director in a joint PCT/local authority post responsible for Learning Disability and Mental Health services, and latterly, for a Local Authority.

 

Operations Director - South: Adam Penwarden

 

Adam-Penwarden Operations Director - South: Adam Penwarden, BA (Hons), MBA

Adam is Lifeways’ Operations Director responsible for the South. He has over 20 years experience of working within the health and social care sector within a range of organisations including; housing associations, local government and the voluntary sector.

His previous roles include;  Head of Performance Management in Social Services at East Sussex County Council, Director of the South East Division for learning disability charity United Response and most recently as Director of Learning Disability services at Turning Point.


 

CEO The SLC Group: Charles Eggleston

Charles has over 17 years experience in the health and social care sector with previous roles including CEO of CIC (Community Integrated Care), JC Care PLC who support individuals with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and mental health issues, and as Director of Care, First PLC.

Charles has also been Chairman of the National Care Forum which represents social care charities throughout the UK.
