Earlier this year we launched the new Quality Strategy which provides a framework to ensure that the people we support are at the centre of everything we do.

Our focus is to really involve the people who use services and their families in making decisions about how we continuous improve our services.

Our first job was to re-launch the Lifeways User Focus Group.

Eight people who use services put themselves forward to represent their area and David (pictured) took on the role as lead for everyone we support across the country.

Our first question to them was “What needs to happen to make services better for people?”

All eight representatives, plus their supporters and members of the Quality Team, got together in Walsall to work through a packed agenda and enjoyed what turned into a very lively and informative day.
