1st May 2009 Learning Disability Today, the national annual exhibition, is delighted to announce Lifeways as major sponsor of this year’s event taking place at the Manchester Central (formerly GMEX) on Tuesday 14 July 2009. Learning Disability Today Manchester attracts over 1,500 visitors who participate in seminars featuring speakers from across the community – people with a learning disability, ministers, frontline workers, policy makers, carers. The event also features interactive zones celebrating innovation in the field – new projects, technology, art, music and film made by and for people with learning disabilities. And over 50 key organisations, project and suppliers exhibit at the event, making Learning Disability Today Manchester one of the biggest events on learning disability in the UK. As one of the most forward-thinking and innovative providers of services for people with learning disabilities, Lifeways will work closely with OLM-Pavilion to inform this year’s Learning Disability Today - celebrating what is being achieved by people with a learning disability and professionals in this field. Jemima Taylor, development director, Lifeways comments “Lifeways sees this event as a key opportunity to meet our key business partners and share new ideas and initiatives from across the industry. It is an excellent opportunity to engage with our customers, discuss new service developments and network with key industry contacts. It allows us to debate and discuss industry topics with our peers and share our experience.” Keep up to date with Lifeways and Learning Disability Today Manchester 2009 at the event website |
