17th August 2011

The Lifeways Group is pleased to announce that it has completed the acquisition of Independent Living Alliance Limited (ILA) and Natural Networks Limited (NNL).

ILA and NNL are both based in Liverpool, Wirral and across Lancashire and provide a wide range of high quality, personally tailored services for people with mental health, forensic and learning disabilities across the North West. Karen Jones has stayed with the ILA/NNL and has been appointed Regional Manager for the organisations.

The Lifeways Group now supports more than 2,200 people throughout the UK, and has more than 4,200 staff with a high level of in-house expertise and experience.

Paul Marriner, CEO of The Lifeways Group, commented: The addition of these two organisations into the Group enhances the service offering and technical knowledge and expertise we are now able to provide to our commissioning partners. The acquisitions align strategically to the group diversification plans to expand service provision into the forensic and mental health markets, adding additional strength and scalability to existing services.
