We have a reputation for delivering high quality services, often where there are limited options for a person who may have become marginalised by their complex needs. We succeed by remaining focused on the person, ensuring we communicate openly, honestly and fairly, and by working in true partnership with the full range of stakeholders.
How we can help you
Through developing behavioural support strategies, in partnership with community behavioural support teams and other health professionals, we ensure you are supported to maximise your independence, choice and control of your life.
We develop an understanding of what is important to you and what you are trying to communicate/achieve through your behaviour, support you to develop and maintain coping strategies, plan clearly structured interventions for when inappropriate or challenging behaviour occurs and provide you with the emotional and practical support you need.
Enabling you to:
- develop independent living skills
- build and maintain robust circles of support and advocacy
- make full use of mainstream community resources
- access and use assistive technology
- reduce inappropriate behaviours
- move on to less supported services
