My story - Mark Print E-mail
MarkAccording to the Leyland office team, Mark is “an IT whizz”.

An acquired brain injury, the result of a car accident, means that he’s had to face considerable challenges, but Mark is steadily gaining the confidence he needs to build a new life for himself.

With good computer skills, Mark is now able to make a really meaningful contribution during his work experience at the Lifeways office.

“I enjoy coming into the office every week,” says Mark. “For a while it was hard getting back into a routine, but I’m gradually getting more energy and this means I can extend my activities.

As well as the office day and visits to the gym in an effort to improve my fitness, I’ve started a college course in music. Music means everything to me and I’m trying to learn extra skills and knowledge so that I can progress from mixing, to hopefully, full on production. It’s really good being able to take on more and this is helping me to start planning for my ultimate goal – a more independent lifestyle.”
