Becky__DSCF1294The crowd at Green Lane in Brighouse certainly know how to have a good time.

They decided that holidays in the same place year after year had become a bit boring, so with a bit of encouragement they decided toopt for something a bit more challenging – and wow! “It was absolutely amazing!” That’s how Becky describes her week long adventure holiday at Bendrigg Lod ge in Cumbria.

Although wheelchair-bound, Becky had a go at loads of the activities on offer, from canoeing and archery to abseiling and climbing. Just the thought of all that action brings a beaming smile to Becky’s face – and she’s very proud of the fact that she was really hands on planning the holiday during the months beforehand.

“When the big day arrived and I got to the centre I was a bit scared,” Becky says, “but I soon settled in and made lots of new friends. One of the best things was that everyone helps out – and gets involved. I’m proud of what I achieved and l’ll never forget my holiday!”
