Alstone House offers the unique opportunity for service users to live in an environment designed using the latest research to meet the needs of adults with a learning disability who may suffer from early to late onset dementia.
The aim of this service is to assist in maximizing potential and minimizing the impact of any dementia through skilled support and interventions to significantly enhance the quality of life of our service users and support outcomes to maintain best value for purchasers.
Situated in a bustling residential area, approximately 1 mile from the centre of Cheltenham Spa, Alstone House is a spacious converted bungalow with two sunny conservatories overlooking an enclosed rear garden with mature trees, garden laid to lawn and sheltered patio. All bedrooms offer ensuite accommodation, with access to the extensive shared communal facilities within a small homely environment.
The needs and aspirations of each resident are developed through an individualised person-centred plan to encourage greater independence and ensure that there is the opportunity to develop independent living skills and a place within the wider community to achieve measurable outcomes.
