Respite services in Staffordshire

Woodland View and Silver Birch are located in quiet residential areas and have been designed to accommodate people with various physical and sensory needs.

Together the two properties can accommodate 15 guests in specially adapted rooms with spacious living spaces and wide range of assistive technologies to promote independence. These respite services are ideal for people with learning or physical disabilities.

Our focus for these services is on providing choice, control and happiness for every person coming to stay at one of the properties. Our personalised assessment processes ensures we create in-depth support plans which offer new and positive experiences, such as developing independent living skills. We work inclusively with families and wider circles of support to provide a home from home experience.

Building on a track record of engaging with the community, families and care professionals, Lifeways will ensure more people can take advantage of these respite services through proactive promotion and an online booking system to encourage new referrals.

Philippa Reynolds, Regional Operations Director,

“We feel privileged to be awarded this contract and delighted that we can build upon our successes to date. We recognise the benefits of good quality respite care in providing new experiences for the individual and a break from daily care responsibilities for families. We aim to be an integral part of people’s overall support plans by offering a truly personalised experience and offering opportunities to learn new skills that can prepare people for a transition into a more independent life.”
