Living at this service
We are ready to welcome a sociable man aged between 60 and 80 years old. The men we support live with learning disabilities.
One of the men we support requires palliative care and cannot leave the house due to his health. The other two men enjoy going to the cinema, being in the community, and driving.
People have varied interests including walking, listening to music, relaxing at home, watching television, gardening, shopping, socialising and going out for lunch. At Pendle View, people choose how they spend their time. Trips to Blackpool, Tangley Hall and the Sealife Centre are favourites.
“The long-term staff and residents make Pendle View a homely and quiet environment for the gentlemen here. It has a very peaceful atmosphere.” Manager, Pendle View
