The three-bedroom detached house has an open-plan living room, dining room, and kitchen, a utility room, and two bathrooms - one is wet room-style and the other has a shower over the bath. Stansfield also has an accessible garden with a patio for people to use when the weather is good.
Assistive technology can be tailored to suit the needs of each person, and includes an alarm in one bedroom. One of the bedrooms is downstairs so can be suitable for people with physical disabilities.

Living at this service
We are ready to welcome a person who likes their own space. The men we support here are aged between 26 and 44, and live with learning disabilities, Angelman syndrome, Down’s syndrome, and autism.
People enjoy eating out, going to the disco and parties, fishing, sensory activities, listening to music, watching television, gardening, going to the cinema, swimming, walking, shopping, cooking, playing the drums, socialising and being in the community.
At Stansfield, people choose how they spend their time. Trips to Blackpool, the zoo and the safari park are favourites.
“Stansfield is in a quiet area close to all amenities. The staff are consistent, long-term, and help promote people’s individual independence. The property is modern and has a very welcoming atmosphere.” Manager, Stansfield
