Whiteoak is a specialist residential service for people with learning disabilities and autism who require a short break with specialised support facilities.
The service is divided into three suites enabling the service to support people with different needs.
The Peach Suite has six bedrooms and aims to support those who use wheelchairs or have difficulties with mobility. This suite also supports people who have complex health issues including physical disabilities and those who have gastrostomies. The suite is fully accessible with tracking and an adapted bathroom.
The Lilac Suite has five bedrooms and supports peoples with mild to moderate learning disabilities.
The Green Suite has four bedrooms and aims to support people with behaviour that can be challenging.
The services have spacious living areas, adapted showers and bathrooms, a multi-sensory room and private, accessible gardens.
Assisted technology is installed according to individual needs, and everyone is encouraged to truly personalise their own bedroom.

Bradford is the nearest town and provides access to The Broadway Bradford and Kirkgate shopping centres, the National Science and Media Museum, a Cineworld Cinema, Bradford Ice Arena for ice skating, and the Alhambra Theatre.

Sitting at the heart of the local community, Whiteoak offers opportunities for positive social inclusion as well as the skilled support needed by each individual. Whiteoak has a large experienced team who support users to take part in activities. The team works very closely with other professionals to ensure that we meet users needs fully. This includes staff from day services, social workers and the clinical team.
