Woodland Avenue

Type of property
Woodland Avenue is a 4-bedroom bungalow with a living room, open plan kitchen diner, laundry room and two shared bathrooms. There’s also an accessible garden with a patio area. Assistive technology can be tailored to suit the needs of each person. There is level access into the property.
When you choose supported living, you’re choosing to live independently, safe and secure behind your own front door. There’s peace of mind in knowing the Lifeways team is on-hand, providing tailored support that helps people to lead more fulfilling lives, surrounded by like-minded people.
Valued in your community
There are few things more rewarding than feeling like an active and valued part of the community.
Woodland Avenue is located in a quiet rural area just south of the village of Cheddleton. There’s a local convenience store and a couple of pubs nearby, but the main local amenities are found in Leek, about five miles away.
In Leek there are plenty of shops, restaurants, a library and leisure centre. You can also find GP surgeries, dentists and opticians. For people who like to stay active, the service is only a couple of miles from the beautiful Peak District which offers spectacular scenery, walks and leisure activities.
Living at this service
Life at Woodland Avenue is suitable for people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities or autism.
We are ready to welcome a mature lady to this service. The people we support here appreciate their own space and enjoy a quiet atmosphere, so someone with a similar outlook is an ideal fit. They do enjoy getting out and about but also like to spend relaxing time at home watching tv or listening to the radio.

“At Woodland Avenue we make sure people are living their best lives. We like to celebrate even the smallest things and always make a big deal of birthdays so everyone feels celebrated.”
