Future Home Care are experienced providers of support for people with autism and autistic spectrum conditions.
We understand that people with autistic spectrum conditions may have needs that challenge traditional, less flexible forms of support, which is why we adopt a person-centred approach with everyone we support, and we always tailor our services to meet specific needs.
We have adapted our homes and schemes to meet the needs of individuals with autism, providing low arousal environments along with specialist Snoezelen sensory rooms.
Four of our registered residential homes have National Autistic Society accreditation for quality autism provision. This means that they have specialised knowledge and understanding of autistic spectrum conditions, and have demonstrated positive outcomes for individuals with autism that we support. Our services have been successful in developing the skills, confidence and routines that people with autism require to live more independently.
Training and staff support are key to delivering our specialist autism services and we ensure all staff receive specific training in autistic spectrum conditions as part of their induction, along with ongoing training and coaching provided by our dedicated autism lead.
