It’s almost spring and our thoughts have turned to cleaning!

We have started an initiative here at Lifeways called “The Big Clean” and everyone who works for us is joining in. The Big Clean is about clearing out the cobwebs, decluttering, and starting 2020 with a commitment to maintaining a clean and tidy environment. Whether we work in someone’s home, an office or a residential service, all our teams are getting involved and sharing their stories, photos and top cleaning tips.

To show their commitment to The Big Clean, every member of the Senior Leadership Team will be visiting a service, rolling up their sleeves and lending a hand.

To help colleagues  get started, we have produced an information pack which includes cleaning tips, a handy rota to help organise all the cleaning activities, a reminder of how to order supplies and a checklist to help managers update their risk assessments.

Gareth Roberts, our Head of Quality, Health and Safety, said, “We want to see The Big Clean make a real difference. We know from experience how everyone gets behind and supports our Lifeways campaigns and we’re really looking forward to hearing about the fun that everyone has with the Big Clean. .
