Ahead of its opening on 10 May, Heron Court, a purpose-built supported living service in Leith, Edinburgh for up to 24 adults with autism and learning disabilities, will be holding virtual tours online on 4 May.

Located just over a mile from Edinburgh City Centre, Heron Court has 24 self-contained one-bedroom apartments. The apartments are designed to give each individual a high degree of independence. 

All apartments are made up of an open-plan kitchen and living area, bedroom and bathroom with level-access shower. Heron Court also has an accessible garden for each individual to enjoy.

Once open, Heron Court will be run by Living Ambitions, which is part of the Lifeways Group, the UK’s largest team of support professionals providing support for adults in the community.

“We’re so proud of Heron Court,” said Susan Green, Heron Court’s Senior Service Manager.

“Our service is purpose-built to support 24 adults live vibrant, fulfilling lives in the community. The self-contained apartments will offer people independence, with support whenever needed.”
