Do some of the individuals you support display challenging behaviour?
If they do, and you work in adult social care around Sefton, Merseyside, join our Person-centred support in action webinar, on Wednesday, 28 April, from 11:00-12:30.
The webinar will feature:
- Insights on positive behaviour support for individuals who display challenging behaviour
- Take-home ideas to increase meaningful engagement
- A Q&A session – and plenty more!
What's more, this is a Continuing Professional Development (CPD)-accredited event, so you gain CPD points for attending this webinar.
More on the webinar:
With her wealth of experience, Kelly Stretch, our Specialist Support Lead for the North, will talk about some of the proactive positive behaviour support (PBS) approaches adopted by Lifeways to design strategies that focus on increasing meaningful engagement for individuals in our services.
Shifting focus away from what is challenging, our PBS approach aims to understand why behaviour happens and how to enhance quality of life. There will be an opportunity for an open question and answer session at the end of the presentation.
We will be hearing from some of the people we support who will be talking about their experiences of living in a Lifeways service. In addition, there will also be the opportunity to take a virtual tour of some of Lifeways available properties in Sefton and to hear from the Community Engagement and Development Manager for the region talking about partnership working.
We look forward to welcoming you.
