Lifeways Inverness provides services in the following areas: Inverness, Wick, Fort William, Thurso, Ullapool and across the Highlands.

The services we provide include: Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health, and Supported Living.

At the Inverness area office, we provide client specific support whether it be a few hours each week or a 24/7 care package. We are able to create personalised packages based around each person’s needs, wishes and requirements.

Our person-centred approach to support incorporates the keys to life strategy.

By using this strategy, we aim to promote a healthy life, choice and control, promote independence and active citizenship.

We include individuals in all aspects of their care package. We seek advice from their family, carers, local experts and health professionals. This enables us to deliver the best level of support available to enable every person to reach their full potential.

We assist people with a range of needs to live independently and safely in their own home. We support them to access social, leisure and educational activities. Also training, voluntary work and employment opportunities open to all members of the Community.

At the inverness area office, we offer the highest standards of residential support. We do this through a commitment to person-centred planning, attention to detail and engaged staff teams. We have a passion for enabling the people we support to achieve their goals and self-direct their support as much as they can.

Positive behaviour and active support underpin everything we do. We understand that each individual is a unique human being and not just a set of risks and challenges.

We also recognise that families are the experts and we work closely with them to create care pathways. This empowers the people we support to achieve their ambitions, acquire new skills, forge genuine community links and to live fulfilling lives.
