Autism Care Yorkshire Supported Living provides a range of support services to people with autism or a complex learning disability across Yorkshire. Our services include: Autism, Learning Disabilities and Supported Living.
We offer a growing range of group and individual supported living services in the region through our independent housing partners. These include highly specialist one person services for individuals who are unable to live with others due to the impact of their autism.
Regardless of the size of the individual package of support we aim to provide support in a consistent way (with flexibility when required) through our well trained and dedicated staff teams. All individuals we support have full person centered plans designed to help the person achieve as much independence as possible.
In designing the service to fully meet the needs of the individual we will work closely with that person, their family, and involved professionals to ensure that we get every aspect of support delivery exactly right.
The services we can design for each individual include:
Shared Supported Living
Individual Supported living
Day Support Activities
All the support we offer is highly flexible, based on comprehensive person-centred planning and a detailed understanding of each person’s unique needs.
We enable the people we support to live an active and full life in their community by delivering services which meet their individual needs and aspirations.
Our aim is to help people towards greater independence
Whether it’s a few hours support each week to 24/7 care and support, we create innovative, personalised packages of support based around each person’s needs, the budget available and their individual goals.
Creating an environment of self-directed support
Our person-centred approach places individuals at the centre of a local network of expert support which can include their family, carers, care managers and health and social care organisations and professionals.
Enabling every person to reach their full potential
We assist people with a range of needs to live independently and safely in their own home – supporting them to access the social, leisure, education, training, voluntary work and employment opportunities and activities open to all members of the community.
