Quality and Practice Team

We have developed a multi –disciplinary Quality and Practice Team that incorporates Social Workers, Registered Mental Health Nurses and Occupational Therapists. This team provides support to all our services to ensure a high level of professional competence and understanding across assessment, risk management, recovery interventions and support.

This team oversees all pre-admission assessments and risk management matters, as well as being responsible for the development of a competent and skilled workforce.  This is achieved through their involvement in case management, role modelling for our Recovery Support Workers, team training and group supervision.

A dedicated team of trained, compassionate Recovery Support Workers

Our staff teams are characterised by their compassion, integrity, professionalism and commitment. Our good reputation and the quality of our current services are due to the commitment and competence of our staff. SIL believes passionately in the personal development of all of our staff members. One of our key objectives is to develop a framework of training which will allow all members of the organisation to achieve a level of qualification appropriate to their job and to also develop them as a skilled professional workforce.

We are currently in the process of reviewing our training and development package which is offered to staff members to ensure the capabilities of fulfilling their job role confidentially and successfully. SIL are committed to providing high quality and meaningful training to staff throughout their careers with us to give them opportunity to progress within SIL and to allow all members of the organisation to keep learning.
