Kingdom House is a modern, detached residential home supporting up to eight people, designed to help them live happy, fulfilling and independent lives. The home is fully wheelchair accessible and has a lift providing easy access to the upper floor.

Each resident has their own spacious en-suite bedroom with wet room facilities, supporting privacy, dignity and independence. There is also an accessible bathroom for people with additional mobility needs.

Shared spaces include two kitchens, a dining room and two comfortable living rooms where people can relax, socialise or spend quiet time. The layout of the home is designed to support a balance of independence and community living, with everything set up to meet a wide range of physical and sensory needs.

Outside, there is a large, peaceful garden with a patio area, providing a calm and accessible space to relax, enjoy fresh air or take part in outdoor activities.

Kingdom House is in the residential area of Woodhouse Mill, with excellent access to local amenities, including shops, cafes and pubs. There is a bus stop directly outside the home, making it easy for people to stay connected to the local community and travel into nearby towns.

The property is ideally situated close to a range of places to visit, including Crystal Peaks Shopping Park, Rother Valley Park and Shire Brook Valley Nature Reserve. Sheffield City Centre is also just a short journey away and offers a wide variety of shops, cafés, restaurants, cinemas, theatres, museums and leisure facilities.

Kingdom House is a welcoming and supportive home for people who are autistic, have complex behaviours or are living with acquired brain injuries or learning disabilities. We support a diverse group of people, each with their own interests, routines and personal goals. Some individuals may at times display behaviours that challenge, and we take a calm, person-centred approach to help build confidence, independence and a sense of control in daily life.

Everyone is encouraged to make their own choices about how they spend their time. The environment offers plenty of opportunities for people to spend time together or enjoy quiet moments alone, depending on their preference and the extensive grounds are ideal for relaxation and enjoying some fresh air. People are supported to enjoy a wide range of activities based on their preferences, including shopping, meals out, community outings, leisure activities and holidays.

At the heart of Kingdom House is a dedicated and experienced team who take the time to get to know each person as an individual. They work closely with families, social workers, GPs and other professionals to ensure each person receives consistent, compassionate support tailored to their needs. Through this approach, people are supported to feel safe, valued and able to live fulfilling lives.
