Lifeways’ new supported living service creates new jobs in Chatteris
We are excited to announce that our new Cambridgeshire based service, Barber Gardens, offering specialist supported living services for adults with learning disabilities, autism and physical disabilities has opened, creating new jobs in the local area.
We are excited to announce that our new Cambridgeshire based service, Barber Gardens, offering specialist supported living services for adults with learning disabilities, autism and physical disabilities has opened, creating new jobs in the local area.
The service offers 15 one-bedroom apartments and three one-bedroom bungalows with en-suite wet rooms. The purpose built accommodation is bright and spacious, with assistive technology built-in and modern rise and fall kitchens with white goods and integrated appliances. There is a communal space where people can come together to take part in activities and socialise.
Located in Chatteris, Cambridgeshire, the local area will provide plenty of opportunity for living life at the heart of the community. The small market town provides ample facilities for everyday life including supermarkets, doctor’s surgeries, pharmacies, a dentist and a library
Lifeways is well known for its quality of care and as with all Lifeways homes, Barber Gardens will embrace a person-centred support approach to allow people to live independently while receiving the level of support that meets their individual needs.
The team at Barber Gardens will support individuals with support needs to achieve their personal goals, learn new skills, achieve independence and live fulfilling lives within the community and we would encourage people from the local area to get in touch if they are interested in this type of role.
